My twin bro and his awesome wife, Vilma, had an amazing wedding. Yes, I was the photographer (along with Lindsay) and the best man :-) It was really fun!

They exchanged their vows in the same church Marilyn Monroe did right in the heart of San Francisco. They had two Priests, Father Pedro and Father Jack. I loved the way Father Jack would say their names in a soft raspy voice that trailed on "Aaron and Vilma...ahhhhhh".

After the ceremony, we partied at the Terra Gallery. Great music, family, food and fun! I am incredibly happy for my brother and Vilma. I love you guys so much.

The 1/5th Road Trip | OR, WA, ID, MT, WY, UT, CO, NM, AZ, CA

I am at our last stop of the road trip...California. It has been an amazing trip. We traveled through ten states and drove who knows how many miles. It was such a great experience and it was even more incredible to spend that time with Lindsay on the road. Here are a few shots from the trip. I did spend some time around the campfire with my computer editing wedding photos :)

We took this trip because from now until the end of the summer, I am booked with weddings. Not to mention the weddings I've shot in recent weeks that still need to be edited and posted! So stay tuned and enjoy!

Boaz Frankel | Un Road Trip Homecoming Party, Keen Footwear Portland Or

Boaz Frankel just returned home from his 10 week journey crisscrossing the United States using everything BUT a car. His story is UNbelievable! So he definitely had to have an Un-party when he arrived at Keen Footwear. Who knew Boaz could rock the Kazoo with the awesome band, The Dexter Street Stompers. I have video below of that taken with my Canon 5d MarkII.

Boaz wanted to show how you can travel using alternative modes of transportation--and have fun doing it! I believe his transportation of choice is the oh so famous scooter beer cooler. Which was featured on NBC's the Today Show. I almost caught up with him when he made his way through NYC when I was there photographing a wedding.

Boaz has definitely inspired me to take alternative modes of transportation. I can't wait to see what's next?! The Un-Road Trip Europe? Maybe this time I can photograph you paragliding off the Eiffel Tower...

Sarah, Eddie and I had a great little Eshoot in the Pearl district. I am always excited about the couples who find me through the Wedding Photojournalists Association website.

John and Dana really know how to throw a party. Thanks to the help of Christina Burr, who has to be the best wedding coordinator in New York City.
Lindsay and I traveled from Portland to New York over Memorial Day weekend to photograph this incredible wedding. The day started with a message in a bottle from Dana to John that had even the groomsmen tearing up. During the reception, we had so much to cover. From a rocking synergy band and the amazing cuisine to a cigar roller and a hot dog stand, it was awesome.

Cheers to Dana and John...and to your 22 person wedding party! Hope to see you again soon in NY.

Alison + Nick | Engagement Shoot. Portland OR

Alison and Nick are a totally fun loving couple. They spent the whole eshoot laughing and playing around with each other. I love shoots where it feels like I am more hanging out with them than being their photographer. I think I dragged them everywhere around the city. I told them they'd get a work out.
